Stepping up our game

Step Up Suncoast provides a wide variety of services and programs to help empower individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency through education, support and community partnerships in Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Manatee and Sarasota counties. Grapevine was chosen to provide a range of creative and strategic services, from renaming the organization and its rebranding to creating its new logo, launching their fundraising campaign, refreshing their website and so much more.

storytelling time

The organization sought to create an emotional piece that described their services and told real-world accounts on how these programs touched, impacted and changed the lives of the people they served. Our client had seen a piece that they liked which used die-cuts, so our creative team worked in these elements in a way that showcases the individual and their story of success.

The resulting 28-page brochure features 6 stories, each with a different color to easily identify its section. Photos were included in black and white, so they would pop against the section colors and give a more dramatic effect.

Every 1 Counts

Step Up Suncoast came to us requesting a creative way to launch and display their new two-year fundraising campaign to help empower local individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency through education, support and community partnerships. Grapevine collaborated as a team and came up with the Every 1 Counts theme based on the belief that every child has value, every dollar given to support Step Up Suncoast’s programs matters, and every team member working to better the lives of those they serve is important.

The design was intended to be playful and cheery. We created an acrylic piece that would become an interactive installation that could be used throughout the campaign to track progress, while giving the client a beautiful piece of art to display in their office afterwards. Stickers of children were created to be the indicators of each individual donation made. Additional items created to go along with the campaign were a donation insert and direct mail piece. These followed along the same design  concept and provided information about the campaign in more detail.

 

Count on Results

The effectiveness of Every 1 Counts has been evident, as Step Up Suncoast has reported a 77%  increase in donations over its pre-campaign totals.The resulting 28-page brochure features 6 stories, each with a different color to easily identify its  section.
