Event Aims to Raise $25,000 for Local Grant Program
Sarasota, Florida – September 7, 2018 – Designing Daughters of Sarasota is excited to announce their third annual Dining for a Difference event. Those who wish to support local charities can do so with their forks and knives by simply dining at one of 16 participating restaurants on Thursday, September 20, 2018. The restaurants will donate 15% of food and beverage sales from 5 p.m. to close towards the Designing Daughters Grant Program, which will benefit a variety of Sarasota area charities and causes. Designing Daughters hopes to raise $25,000, one quarter of their $100,000 annual goal, during this event. If this goal is met, one night of dining out will fund five nonprofit grants in the community.
“What makes our event so unique to Sarasota is that we don’t require a ticket, an RSVP or an age limit,” said Ashley Guttridge, Designing Daughters’ 2018 President. “Anyone can participate – all you have to do is go out to dinner on September 20!”
